Northern Illinois Harmony Alliance
It’s SHOWTIME to a SOLD OUT Crowd!!!
Call time is 12:45pm.
Baker Memorial UMC in St. Charles. Please arrive early so you can get acclimated to this lovely space.
Warm-up and Quick run-through starts at 1 pm.
Make sure to get TICKETS to SELL for Barrows from Ron Schulz.
Turn in ticket monies in a sealed envelope with a detailed note including your name, amount, and whatever details you can provide.
Everyone was not able to attend Tuesday, so it is imperative that everyone arrives by 1pm. We will get into our new positions, then run through a quick version of the show. Remember: Less Is More! Allow the Baker acoustics to do the work for you. Sing smoothly and with character. Tell your story in each song.
Be prepared to be moved around as necessary, and, please do so as quickly and quietly as you can.
We will run the ENTIRE Show, to make sure that we have the logistics comfortable.
We made recordings of the 1st half songs in rehearsal so you can sing them as the Director is going to perform them.
Keith Rosborough has done a masterful job putting together our show program. We’re asking you to refrain from taking any printed copies at Baker because we ran out last year. We want to keep expenses down and use them at Barrows, too. Also, you can just download it by clicking on the button below and have an electronic version forever while saving a tree. Thank you to everyone who provided content and, especially, those who sold ads to help pay for everything!!!

Your Chapter will benefit from everything you do: Signing Up, Participating in Rehearsals & Shows, and Selling Ads & Tickets.
We’re using a three-tier program: Foundation, Revenue Generation, and Participation.
Foundation: 50% of profit distributed to each of seven choruses equally.
Revenue Generation: 25% of profit distributed, pro rata, based on the ticket & program ad revenue generated by each member of each chorus.
Participation: 25% of profit distributed, pro rata, based on the number of their members who attend the scheduled Mass Chorus Rehearsals & Concerts & timely responses to email and requests.
These distributions will be based on the activities of each Member and paid directly to the Chapter. The more Members who Sign-up, the more the Chapter will make. The more Ad & Ticket Dollars Members generate, the more the Chapter will make. The more Members who attend Rehearsals & Shows, the more the Chapter will make.
==================================
PLEASE NOTE: We can only track the activities of people who are signed-up in our system.
==================================
Are you a DUAL MEMBER? No problem!
Members can choose one or two of our Chapters to represent and how they want their distributions divided.
Here are some tools to use to help sell tickets!
There are two electronic picture files that can be used on your chorus Facebook page, your personal Facebook page, or to send to someone in an email. There is also a printer-friendly pdf FLYER to print and hand out.
Be sure to personalize your email.
The documents will send them to https://cccc.mailchimpsites.com
or they can Contact Our Ticket Chairman, Ron Schulz
Email: rnkschulz@comcast.net
Call: 815-861-3281
Be sure to tell them to include your name on the payment page so you get credit for the order.
Here are the links:
When selling ads for the concerts, it is a good idea to present a copy of the flyer, emphasize that there will be 90 voices singing this year, and that we sold out last year and expect to do the same. (approx. 1,000 people)
Using the form, complete the information in the top portion - make sure to include your name and your chorus' name below the payment line, so you receive the proper credit for the sale. The customer can pick the ad size from the chart based on how much information is to be included in the ad and how much they want to spend.
The ads will be black and white - sorry, no color!
Checks should be made out to Fox Valley Harmonizers.
Call Keith Rosborough at (630) 406-0121 and let him know you sold an ad! He will give you details on what to do next.
The deadline for ads in his hands is Monday December 3rd!
For the whole show: Please avoid OUTER WHITE jackets or vests. Prefer Black from the waist down. Hint: if you wear Black from the waist down in both halves, you only have to change your top attire. Keep it simple! It’s okay to wear a white shirt if it is covered with non-white outer wear.
For the First Half: Fun, colorful Holiday-themed, festive clothing: vests, jackets, sweaters, ties, hats
For the Second Half: More dressy, reverent clothing: Like going to Church, Jackets, Dresses, Ties - Try to stick to a color scheme of Black, White, and Red, with simple accoutrements.
The response to planning an afterglow party following the Sat, Dec 17 show at Barrows Auditorium at a private room in Avanzare Italian Restaurant was minimal, so it has been cancelled. We may gather at some place informally, but nothing is planned, right now. Do you have an idea??? SHARE IT ASAP!
There is a huge parking lot East of the Building.
Handicap spots and access are readily available!
Please park as far away from the building as you can so we leave closer spots for our patrons and those who aren’t as ambulatory as you.
